Juni is an education platform that provides 1:1 learning options for school aged children. They mainly focus on STEMs courses, and coding. Vivian and Ruby first approached Chris via the Y-Combinator network.
As a fledgling company they had a previous consultant who had done effective work, but they were now looking to work with someone new, and to take their SEO in a new direction.
One of Juni’s key challenges has been connecting with new users while building out a new product category. Juni’s system isn’t the same as old school tutoring, so how do you connect with folks who are searching for tutoring, and let them know you have a better solution to their problem?
Adding to the challenge, MIT, and other large sites, were dominating the rankings for the keywords we were targeting. This was going to be a tough, and exciting, SEO challenge.
Together, we embarked on a three month engagement in February 2020 that we’ve continued to this day. As you may have noticed, this coincided with the emergence of COVID-19.
Our first steps were to cover the technical and onpage setup of the site, doing a comprehensive keyword research, and then a full strategy project before tackling content operations and backlinks.
